Nationwide and Sift Media take our Writing for the Web course.

This time the wonderful Robert Fenner took our Writing for the Web course with his unique style. Everyone learned a lot and enjoyed their day at the Glove Factory Studios. The Nationwide team was there to find out how to improve their company intranet site. They told us the site wasn't getting results because employees weren't staying on the site for very long. We taught them how, by improving the quality of their copywriting, they could develop their site to guide users through it and keep them interested. They took away strategies they could use straight away.
Becky and Meg from Sift Media write copy for their clients' websites, yet neither have had any formal training in web writing best practice. During the course we analysed one of the sites they write for, and then and there gave them ideas for improvements. A lot of what we teach is common sense: it's just that when you're busy with day-to-day workload, it can be difficult to find the time to really think about your writing. A day away from the office concentrating on developing online copywriting techniques can be a real confidence booster.
