After 25 years in the advertising industry, Gail is now a university lecturer and trainer. During her career she's worked on major brands at agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann, Ogilvy & Mather and Bates Dorland.
Gail founded Creative Training in 2013 and has worked with companies including Nestle, Diageo, Blue Cross and Zurich Insurance to name just a few. She specialises in teaching creative writing and thinking skills that help all types of businesses realise their creative potential.
Gail is also a leading voice in diversity and gender awareness and advises businesses own simplicity bias and connected issues. She also offers advice and guidance to clients and agencies looking to connect with women in new and interesting ways that avoid the usual stereotyping. She has an MSc in Gender and International Relations from the University of Bristol where she looked at Nike's Girl Effect campaign and its manipulation of gender ideology.
Gail is a media commentator on many topics and has appeared on Radio4 Woman's Hour and the Today Programme several times speaking about advertising. She's also had articles published in industry and national press including The Drum, Campaign, The Telegraph, The Guradian and The Huffington Post. She's delivered a TED talk and spoken at conferences including Women of the World, TFM&A and Vision Bristol, and she's chaired the IPA Women at Work series of talks.
Sion has enjoyed a successful 23 year career in the advertising industry. For 17 of those years he was a creative director at major international networks such as DDB, TBWA, Ogilvy & Mather and Saatchi & Saatchi. Sion was handpicked by Saatchi Worldwide network CEO, Kevin Roberts, to become part of the small team responsible for developing and packaging Saatchi’s celebrated Lovemarks brand philosophy. More recently Sion was Regional Creative Director CEMEA at Saatchi & Saatchi, running multi-channel integrated campaigns across a large and demanding region covering Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Sion has won numerous industry awards including multiple Cannes Lions, One Show awards, Creative Circles, D&ADs, and even a BAFTA.
Sion is also an award-nominated novelist and was a guest author at the Dubai LitFest in 2011; his stage play ‘Jam’ was recently performed at theatres in Southend and Chelmsford. Sion teaches Marketing and Advertising at the University od West of England and prior to was head of Creative Advertising at Falmouth University.
